Best part of our time in Venice was sitting in San Marco square, at an outdoor restaurant, sipping a glass of wine, listening to a classical quartet. Way too expensive, way, way too many cruise ship tourists, but really, this is the whole point. Everything else in Venice is special, but this is the only way to start. More

St Marco church is very beautifully constructed, looking over the Grand canal and has very pious interiors. There is no electricity inside, so it gives a very pious feeling to tourists. Entry to the church takes as long as viewing the church itself though.. More

It is definitely worth a visit and it's worth it to stand in the queue to go on top. More

Over crowded no control. Would not bother to go back as couldn't see a thing and they don't allow pictures even on museum mode. More

We were able to bypass the longlines by booking through Viator...go early, the lines were extremely long and crowded after later morning. More
