This was our first encounter with Tintoretto's work. Very impressive! We read our book and took the audioguide (they offer it in many languages) and learn a few things about the artist. The paintings are stunning!

This large over the top building holds the greatest works by Tintoretto. It's a bit much to take in, but well worth the effort. However, my favourite bit was the carvings in wood in the upper hall. The figures look as if they are about to lift themselves out of the walls.

Best 10Euros spent in Venice. Includes audio guide. Paintings are breath taking. Must start from the small room on the second floor, from there to the main room on second floor and then down to first. Beautiful place.
