Having a little free time I walked arounf=d the small city centre of Treviso.
This is well wortyh seeing, typical catholic high church with some wonderful paintings, statues and frescos. Really enjoyed looking around. But in the crypt got a litte frightened when the lights suddenly went out. Thought they were closing and thought I was going to get locked...

The cathedral received a standard 18th century makeover. To really soak up the spirit of the place, you need to descend into the 10th-11th century crypt. Spare, pared down to a minimalist space, the crypt repays a few minutes of silent contemplation away from the hurly-burly above.
