A good hour to see how Italian unity was conceived and slowly made through battles and annexations showed with many books, documents, paintings marbles, bronzes, maps, guns, medals, military uniforms and ranks and many more other details. We only went in here becuase the building was so impressive and we were glad we did. It's a very nice historical museum which is well laid out and informative. Even our teenage son enjoyed it. More

The museum has obviously been refurbished recently, and the result is astounding! the XIXth century is a very interseting period, very well rendered there. Nicely done. Good overview of the history of Italy, in Particular the past 150 years. Unfortunately some rooms are "over-crowded" - there is just too much stuff in them.
