I loved the information programs screened on several tv sets along the exhibition. Very well produced and made. Bravo!! For the rest, I think the museography is not that good. Too many portraits and bust without a real explanation of who those people were. If you don't know the history of Italy, you kept wondering about it and about the...

A good hour to see how Italian unity was conceived and slowly made through battles and annexations showed with many books, documents, paintings marbles, bronzes, maps, guns, medals, military uniforms and ranks and many more other details. Wiìorth entirely the visit. Pictures allowed after payment of 2 euros and signature of disclaimer to not publish the pictures.

We only went in here becuase the building was so impressive and we were glad we did. It's a very nice historical museum which is well laid out and informative. Even our teenage son enjoyed it.

The museum has obviously been refurbished recently, and the result is astounding! the XIXth century is a very interseting period, very well rendered there.
One remark: there are audioguides (for add. fee), with different level of details, that you have to choose at the entrance. The lowest level of details does not tell you more than the poster at the...

Nicely done. Good overview of the history of Italy, in Particular the past 150 years.
Unfortunately some rooms are "over-crowded" - there is just too much stuff in them. But all in all, a very pleasant experience.

Plus point: For a small fee of EUR 1 you are allowed to take pictures.
