It is not that easy to locate the entrance to this Church, but it is well worth the effort. This church is the oldest in Milan and named after the famous bishop Saint Ambrose, who is buried here. The impressive architecture is to be seen already by far and you won't be disappointed at entering. Make sure you are not missing out on checking the skilfully carved wooden door in between the 2 entrances (protected by glass) and all the little Romanesque details everywhere.
