This was a definite highlight for us. Book your ticket before hand to make sure you can enter and be amazed. A wonderful and almost "holy" experience.

I booked a two hour tour of the painting, church and the nearby castle on tickitaly.com. Turned out the be a great tour. We met the guide at the Cadorna train station. The instructions and time were clearly described on the tour ticket. The guide spoke perfect English. First thing on the tour was the Last Supper painting. Then to...

What can I say other than it lived up to expectation. A true masterpiece that have survived all the time has thrown at it for multiple restorations to war damage. Yet still it shows its class.
The refectory that contains the Last Supper is connected to the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. This is a beautiful church that truly...

This is a nice Church and could be directly accessed if you are visiting L'ultima Cena of Da vinci since it is 10 meter away. in the begining i thought it is the same place.
The tickets are expensive and I had to book 3 months in advance but it was worth it. The last supper is a sight to see! The whole experience lasts only 15 mins but it is just enough time to take it in. You have to use a few of the precious minutes viewing The Crucifixion at the other end...

Next to the building where was painted Leonardo masterpiece "The Last Supper", this beautiful Lombard style brick and stone building is as beautiful inside as it is outside. Worth a visit in its own right, make sure you do not miss it.
If it's not included with your Last Supper tour, make sure you get in and see the church - lovely chapels down the side that wasn't bombed, the amazing fresco revealed in the della Grazie chapel after the bombing, and even the little cloister out the back door from the altar area. Try and get there on a sunny day...

You can book an evening viewings of the Last Supper. It's expensive (c.50 euro), but you get much more time at the painting than you would normally and a private guide. The group will be about 15 people, so you have plenty of space.
The Last Supper is amazing, of course, but you will understand it much better after this...

This is the small church next to the museum that houses the Last Supper. The church is small but one of the prettiest my wife & I saw in Milan. We were unable to procure tickets to see the Last Supper. They are sold out days in advance. We learned that some of the hotels that have tickets they they...
