The old waterway is preserved and the abundance of restaurants make the visit to Navigli district enjoyable. The boat trip is recommendable too, but in my opinion is too long and the landscape is in its most parts industrial with nothing special. If you prefer a beer is better to stay ashore. It is a very fun and lively area. Tons of restaurants and bars. Gets very crowded on the weekends. Lots of young people like to hang out here. More

Nice neighborhood, with little shops, canals and several (some good ones) restaurants and trattoria, some art studios and stores with antiques but i think that has too much cement and several ugly buildings. But there is a must to locals and also to the guest, at least for 1 time, in... We are so glad we stayed in this district, it is so close to the center of Milan (a few stops tube stops away). Lots of wonderful restaurants and a vibrant atmosphere. More
