If you want to have a nice view of the town, go to the Campanone (the clock tower). You will enjoy the views from there.

Only 3 euros for adults and free for kids, you can walk or take the lift. At the top there are stunning views of the surrounding area, rooftops and city beyond. Also, there is archeological excavation at the ground level which is open and free to the public.

Good value for money and well worth the climb to the top. Alternatively you can take the lift. The panoramic views were magnificent, but be ready for the bell ringing as it is loud!
