Old Ventimiglia is a dump, buildings are deteriorating and at night it is empty. There is a restaurant at uppermost part but that is about it. More

Nice atmosphere, history will keep you in another dimension... it need a recover, some works as building rehabilitation but is a really amazing place More

Such a cute town. The market was so lively - lots of colors and action. Took pictures I wasn't expecting to take. Great views along the coast. All close to the train station. More

We did a day trip to Ventimiglia twice, that's how much we liked it. From the train station we strolled the old town, went to its indoor market, sampling the locally grown produce such as the fruit and vegetable and on Fridays there is the large outdoor market. It’s unfortunate that the town did not take advantage and make more of an effort to make this a touristy town as it has the location the beach and the history.
