Poor Italy, poor tourists. As sometimes happen, this is a very beautiful place but there is no way to figure out any information about it. So I suggest you to buy a guide or print some information taken from the net before spending 6 euros just for going insithe this marvellous empty room with nothing written inside about all the... A mesmerising medieval architectural masterpiece with its distinct colour marble stonework. More

Agree with SariBee... It's not worth the entry fee unless you love art and plan to spend some time inside. My husband and I paid €12 (€6 each) and spent a minute inside. I appreciate that structures such as this need to be maintained which is why they charge a fee, it just wasn't worth it for us. More

What an amazing building and when you step inside just awesome. The pink marble outside is magnificant, but if you are a fan of art, the inside is not to be missed. Paying entrance fees may put people off, but this is how beautiful structures and art can be maintained. Parma is a wonderful hidden treasure. More

Really beautiful inside and out. The building outside is made of pink marble. Inside holds frescoes depicting the months of the year, zodiac sign, and seasons of the year. It is common for near by school children to have their field-trips here. The building is only one room so with a lot of kids it can get cramped. It cost... More

The exterior, compared to other buildings in Italy of the same age, is not exceptional. However, when you get inside the contrast will make you realize the effort put into the construction. Admission is a little pricey but still not as bad as attractions in Rome or Florence. More

The Battistero had interesting architecture and indoor paintings, how ever the price to get in is 6 € that I feel is too much. In case you are fan of old history and paintings, you will most likely get more out of it. For me, as a "tourist" it felt like a ripe off with so high price. In case... More

The Battistero is more interesting than the church. Nice mosaics and architecture. More
