This is where the famous University of Bologna has its real soul. The lecture room in which Anatomy was taught is well worth seeing - it allows you to step back in time and imagine how the students were taught in the old days. The explanatory panels are well presented and tell the story well. Fascinating.

This was an unexpected find.. I went twice.. The first visit was alone in the room... The second time a group of school children joined me .. the resultant photo op was amazing. Flanking the lecturers chair are two statues of humans showing off their exposed muscles. Not for the faint hearted
