This place is great for vacations, family walk. My advice is to go when it's hot in downtown. It is near Vatican and Castello d` Angelo. Also zou can rent "bici" for two or four person, the price is favorable. There is a small lake, with benches around it. And the most important thing, wonderful view on the whole city!!! More

The Pincio itself is currently covered in polythene and access is on a boarded walkway which is a little disconcerting. The views are nonetheless wonderful. The gardens were pleasant but disappointingly lacking in any interesting shrubs or flowers. More

This is a short (upwards) stroll from the Piazza di Poppolo. You have great unobstructed views from the city and Vatican (although at the moment the viewpoint is surrounded by scaffolding so it affect slightly the view). Then you have a very pleasant park to escape the crazyness of Rome and find a shady spot to cool down after hours... More

fantastic, great with children, bit of a climb, so I wouldn't recommend it on a very hot day, or for anyone with mobility issues, but we loved it. More

The vantage point was under scaffolding and some of the locals told us that it has been that way for over one year! Disappointed. More

This was a bit of a climb from the Piazza del Popolo, but it was worth the effort. The views are stunning, and the gardens very pleasant. It's a nice spot for a relaxing stroll. More

Our hotel was only a short stroll from here, a vast expanse & very pretty, pity about the scaffolding on the edge though, but do still go anyway, views are fab. More

Easy to get to, metro to Flaminio then take the steps up from the Piazza del Popolo. There are great views from the terrace at the front of the gardens. Plenty benches to sit on or you can lie on the grass. Loved the green parrots making themselves at home in a palm tree. Much nicer place to relax than... More

The walk up this hill was a bit of a pain, but then again we already walked 4 miles that same day, BUT the view was totally worth it. This is a place to just sit on the grass and relax with a pretty girl by your side. In my case, it was my lovely wife. You can get a... More
