Incredible coffe and traditional pastries, a great breakfast experience on the small piazza. Go there for sure!
After visiting Italy 5 times, and drinking espresso in many locations there and in the USA this has to be the best espresso I have had anywhere. We where taken to this Cafe as part of a Walks of Italy tour, and where told it would be the best, they where 100% correct, if in the area of the Campo... More
When I was last in Rome, I had here the best coffee I've ever had -- the Gran Caffe Lungo -- so I had very much been looking forward to a return visit. The coffee is still excellent -- the coffee mousse, liked melted ice cream, was delicious treat on a sweltering afternoon -- but the cafe itself is no... More
All the reviews are right about the quality of the coffee, but the staff was very unfriendly. We sat down at a table right outside and a staff member immediately came to us saying that we need to pay $5/person if we want to sit, being very impolite about it, like we didn't deserve it. It was a very small... More
Went four times in three days. Conveniently located nearby the Patheon and along the path of walking tour. The store is just a regular cafe, bustling with locals mixed with some tourists all the time esp during the afternoon. Tried with and without sugar espresso as well as cappucino. All of them are good. The espresso shot is particularly nice,... More
We went there encouraged by a note on Jamie Oliver's blog, to find a perfectly toasted and brewed coffee turned into fantastically refreshing drinks: shakerato-shaken cold latte and unbeatable Granita do Caffe con panna-if you know the Italian Granitas-crushed ice drinks and love coffee, Sant' Eustachio is THE place to go in Rome, especially on a warm-as-hell summer day! We'll... More
Let me first say that it's a myth that you can find good coffee everywhere in Italy. There is plenty of mediocre coffee everywhere in Rome. Having said that, sant eustachio has one of the best caffe grande that i've ever had. You absolutely have to go there when you're in Rome, ahead of everything else. Besides, it's a stone's... More
If you like coffee, this is the place. If you like sweet dessert in the form of coffee (like me) there's a wonderful option, this type of mocca-expresso with whipped cream that is to die for. Don't miss it!
Sant Eustachio is a must when you go to Rome. It is a few bocks away from the Pantheon (walking distance). Ask for a capuccino, an expresso, any coffee you like.
