The station is very crowded and too many small children look intent on pickpocketing rather than travelling - my friends husband was cannoned into by a small child and in the time it took for him to pick the child up his wallet was gone - a too familiar story - take special care More

Was setting out to catch the metro to the Vatican in morning peak hour. Alot of confusion at the station... ALOT of beggars and gypsies everywhere. Felt extremely unsafe. Had my wallet stolen whilst trying to get through the mass of people. Wasn't aware until arrived on the platform. Very distressing moment. Cancelled my travels on the train to head... More

Great Italian Rail services but be prepared for the morning & afternoon rush hours. Great to get around on the metro to major attractions and general site seeing. Buy the Roma travel pass which covers train, buses and trams. The best way to get anywhere in Rome More

Easy to navigate, buy tickets, tracks closeby, bus terminal across parking lot; you can grab some food, sit and & feel very safe. Only downside is my husband had to pay 1 Euro to use the toilette...ouch! More

we found our way in this station so easily, we bought our tickets from self service machines fast, the leonardo express was fast and clean. the only downside is the tickets, there was nothing in English on tickets, people who dont know any italian can be really confused. More

I am Italian, but comparing the Termini station with other European stations I score termini below the average. It is dirty and not so comfortable, noisy and I feel unsafe. I don't like to stay more than half an hour, restaurants and hotels nearby are very noisy and below the average too. Politicians didn't act to change the look, they... More

Not a great experience. Very crowded , no English signs , everything in Italian The police was not very helpful as they were not speaking any English. Plenty of thieves so you should keep an eye on your belongings More

There was a ton of construction as they were trying to expand the tracks. They kept finding ruins so they had to go around which created a maze underground trying to get to the lines you needed. More

just go to the termini and you can connect to wherever it is that you want to go to. It has a tourist information center that you can buy the Roma Pass from and have someone patiently explain to you in detail. (The guy who assisted us was very friendly - the same can not be said for the other... More
