The Taste of Testaccio food tour in Rome was amazing, great for anyone looking to do something different in Rome. The pace of the tour is just right. A good mix of talking, walking and of course eating! The Tour Guide Beau was able to provide the right amount of background information to each food stop, while keeping it all... More

On our recent return visit to Rome we spent the day with Luna as our Australian guide and another 13 or so interested in exploring some of the local food establishments in the Testaccio neighbourhood. After a short 10 minute walk from the metro station of Piramide, we meet Luna who for the next 4 hours guides us to 9... More

My wife and I and two of our friends joined Domenico on his Taste of Testaccio tour. He was very charming and well informed and led us to some wonderful places to eat. The detour we took to the local cemetary was just the perfect respite between the many delicious stops we made. All in all, it was worth it!

I've been on a few similar tours in other parts of the world and joined this group with no great expectations. Luna made the trip one of the most memorable I've ever been on. She exudes enthusiasm about the food, people and places , it's obvious she loves her job. It is educational, fun and waist expanding. One tip, go... More

My experience with Eating Italy was great! My first night in Rome I was by myself and decided a food tour would be a great way to start my trip and spend an evening out with people. When I initally went online to sign up for the tour it was full the night I was looking for. I emailed the... More

We booked the tour based on the reviews we saw, well that, and the fact that I love food!! We had a blast. Our guide Katie was excellent and we had some really nice people on the tour. The "surprise" was truly outstanding and going behind the scenes many places was a blast. The wine cellar was excellent. To be... More

My husband and I went on this tour at the beginning of June. Kenny was our guide. The whole thing from start to finish was superb. It was fantastic to see this side of Rome. All of the food eaten was fresh, tasty and plentiful. It provided a different theme, from the norm in Rome.We would recommend this for anyone... More

Im glad we did this because it was something different than the usual Rome sights. We got to see a different section in Rome we wouldnt have seen otherwise. I loved the friendliness of all the local shops and restaurants we stopped at. The food was very good, and perfectly spaced out throughout the 4 hour tour. I enjoyed The... More

The food tour of the Testaccio was absolutely one of the highlights of our Rome Trip. It was a totally relaxing and enjoyable 4 hours filled with lots of great food and a little bit of history thrown in for good measure. Our guide Kate was a delight. My wife and I spent a few days in Rome prior to joining a cycling tour of Tuscany. We saw many of the sights and without question the highlight of our time in Rome was the Eating Italy Food Tour.
