When in Rome you HAVE to visit the Forum. It's a must. Try not to go in August - very hot - or when raining, as there are few places to seek refuge. More

This old market site is excellent....has an exhibirion of modern furniture in parts of it right now which looked weird at first in thia ancient location. The site has been renovated and you get fantastic views of the National Monument from it....you can really imagine how the whole place worked..don't miss the simple but informative film in the courtyard room... More
