Hey all, This place is truly awesome. Friend of mine recommended this place over the zoo so I went to check it out. I love animal. But every time I visited zoo anywhere in the world I was little disappointed because there was no encounter with animals and most of the animals were asleep but this place is different. You... More

Faunia is a nature theme park near Madrid capital. It is a wonderful family experience that your children will never forget. The park recreates four of the ecosystems found in different areas of the planet: the Polar Regions, the Amazon jungle, the Mediterranean forest and the African jungle. It is a great plus that children under 3 years old can... More

I went (somewhat reluctantly) over the Easter break and was pleasantly surprised. It's pricey (over 20 Euros per adult on a family ticket) but I don't go to many parks like this so am probably out of touch. I thought there was a great selection of wild life - everything seemed clean and well looked after. The enclosures are impressive... More

I went about four years ago and that was a decent visit, yesterday I felt like the park has been abandoned completely. Animal exhibits are dirty and some animals look sick, tired and bored, the shows are non-existing, while 4 years ago I could say they were really nice and interesting. The insect house had 1 butterfly!!!... I dreaded 95%... More

This park is very well kept and structured in such a way that the kids can learn about animals and the ecosystem in which they live. It is quiet and can be a pleasant few hours on a saturday or sunday with your kids, particularly if the weather is good.

We liked it so much that we became members! It is something I recommend that families do, since the price of entrance is steep. The membership card allows you to enter for free during a year to all the parks they have, which are a few all over Spain. So if you are going to visit at least three parks,... More

It is very eclectic place, you can have all flavors. Faunia best achivement, I think, is to be very balance. You will enjoy it at constant rate. I usually end up getting tired in the zoo, but this doesn't happen to me here. Attractions are covered with ceiling, so it is perfect for all wheather: either too hot, or rainy.

We visit Faunia almost every year. It is a wonderful (but very tiring) day out for kids of all ages. However many times you go there is always something new to see. Some of the animals are completely free to roam (such as the Prarie Dogs) and will happily feed from your hand. There is also a small petting zoo... More

Oh, here you can experience animals near them. With different zones you enter in the habitat of cautivated animals and interactuate with them. Is not as big as the Zoo but you expend a good time with each animal. I was 15 and I enjoyed it because I loved animals
