We visited this museum with our four children aged from 8-13 (2 boys and 2 girls). There are several engines/locomotives and carriages on display in pristine condition - UNFORTUNATELY we really hadn't a clue what we were looking at as all the descriptions were in Spanish! Needless to say the children had no interest once they had climbed on/been inside...

The RENFE Museum is in the former Delicias station, Madrid - a very appropriate venue. I have visited it several times. Despite modest size (compared to the British railway museum in York or the French one in Mulhouse), it is an excellent museum for the railway enthusiast, and thankfully traditional in display concept.
