A real buzz to the place. Lots of terrace cafes and restaurants. Statues of Barca and Lorca in the Plaza along with hotels and a theatre. Easy walking distance to all the main sights.

I love just wondering around these streets & trying different places as it always throbs with life! I imagine some places may be expensive but we`ve never been dissappointed.

Nice little square, but to many beggars, they seem to be everywhere, not a very pleasant sight.

visiting the centre of Madrid and want to have a bit of a rest and grab a beer? this is the place to go! it is quiet (when compared to Sol) and you can enjoy the sun in a nice looking square

This is a nice quiet square with lots of bar and restaurant options ringing it. Food, beer and wine can be served in the square under the trees or umbrellas from any of the restaurants. The theatre is at one end. Prices are a bit higher, but it's a nice place to meet with friends or just people watch.

Busy night time square with some good tapas places though quality declines the busier they get.
