I love seeing this bridge. I think it pretty and stands out. However also some of the older stone bridges are more impressive.

Not like the Eiffel Bridge in Oporto, but still worth kissing on. So Tripadvisor needs fifty characters...not sure why they'd need that many to talk about this bridge. It's across their river, in a nice OldTown area, it's a sure thing. Do it ! Try. That, Salida1048

Gustavo Eiffel did design this bridge. Along with a few other bridges crossing the river wandering Girona is a dream. We are so glad we bused it straight from Barcelona Airport to Girona for the start of our holiday.

Interesting in that it was designed by Eiffel, but it is modest, and not the most impressive thing in Girona by a long way.

Of all of the bridges in town this is one of the smallest and one which has the worst views. In my view this is not one of Mr Eiddels better efforts.

I was so surprised to hear that Gustav Eiffel built this bridge. I looked it up on Wikipedia just to make sure and did see information about it. I am impressed that something so sturdy and useful was made so long ago and still survives today.

This is one of the bridges you cross from the new to the old part of Girona. Whilst on the bridge you have the lovely view of the houses along the river. This must be the most photographed place in Girona.
