We were not disappointed at all! The Theater is beautiful with great attention to detail. Although it was small, I was impressed and we planned to return to it ! Thanks to Divento we had great seats, at a great price ! This is the home of Opera in Barcelona, you must go visit it if you planned a trip... More

We went on the opera house tour. There only about 8 people in the english tour. we got to see the theater and got to go into the private club area. It was very interesting to hear the history of the theater including it burning down twice! Our tour guide was very good and funny. More

This is the home of opera in Barcelona ,and Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras often sang here. There are two guided tours of this grand theatre. One is the front of house and the other is backstage. Unfortunately when I visited, the backstage one was not available as there were performances scheduled. We were taken to the best seats in... More

I've been there in several operas and ballets. It is a luxury to have a place like this in Barcelona but be careful because they are cutting wages and some of the spectacles are being removed. More

I thought I had bought tickets to an opera but it was only the concert version. I was disappointed, and then even more saddened when the English subtitles on the screens at our seats was inoperative. The subtitles on the main screen were in Catalan, not very helpful. A synopsis of the story in the leaflets would have been extremely... More

Attended a great performance of Gounod's "Faust." Building is beautiful and the acoustics are really fine - bright without too much reverb. More

My husband and I had been wanting to catch a show here just to see the interior of this theater and experience it fully. When Carmen came on the schedule we decided this was our best chance, as it is our favorite opera. We were NOT disappointed at all! The Theater alone was so beautiful with great attention to detail.... More
