You just have to take a lift up and see it yourself)))) Amazing. Unbelievable experience, for me it was special even more cause Im afraid of height... Now I feel like I am not anymore.

Really enjoyed visiting the Sagrada Familia, so different from a normal church - really interesting and amazing to see. It's worth getting tickets online - the queues were very long to get in but with online tickets we walked straight in.
We visited very early May 2013 and booked tickets online the day before at our hotel. This saved us hours of queuing. We felt like VIPs going straight to the gates and in. The interior is so simplistic and spiritual without shoving religion at the visitor. It seemed to us to glorify the best of mankind not individual worthies such...

I was so thrilled to visit this place that I actually spent almost 20 minutes at first just staring at the building! What a marvel made by man! Good exercice with the stairs to the top of the tower: the following day you won't feel your knees... This is for the little story but truly amazed by the genius of the man and hope to be alive to see it completed and pray
This is one of the most beautiful churches in the world, and different from anything else. Buy tickets in advance to avoid the lines
Buy tickets on line before you leave home to avoid long lines. That way we walked right in at our scheduled time. You could stay here an hour or a lifetime and not see every detail. Audio tour is recommended because there is so much detail to see and understand.
Did not visit the interior of the church, but sat at a coffee shop and marveled at the outside. So intricate and amazing matching of styles as the construction continues. Major landmark of Barcelona and well worth visiting.
You do need to see this. The outside is extraordinary, and the inside tour is worth it. Get the audio tour. We did not get the tower tour (lift to the top, walk down) and regretted it, until we saw the views from Parc Guell.
Later in the day the lines are shorter. Check times but I think it closed at 7 the day we were there. Don't miss it - it's worth the wait. Go up the towers. It is an elevator up and stairs to come down.
