I've seen Picasso's work for years, but here you get a rare collection of early works. You can understand the soul of this great artist by watching how he started and what led him to be who he became. Well designed museum, great combination of old and new structures. More

This takes one through every phase of his development as an artist. BE WARNED, he had some rather randy ideas. BIG HINT--First Sunday of the month is FREE. Get there early!! More

A don't miss for any Picasso fan. An excellent collection that gives you a great look into his earlier works and insight into his full range of talents. He sampled many well known styles before finding his own. The buildings housing the collection are also impressive. More

They only have some old scetches, nothing of the real work. You must be a real fan to be able to enjoy this museum. I practically ran out. More

The Picasso Museum has a nice collection of Picasso's early works. Be sure to rent the headphones. Without them we wouldn't have known nearly as much about the exhibits. More

Prior to arrival I wasn't certain whether I would visit this museum. First, the rest of my family is lukewarm, at best, about Picasso's work. Second, I thought it would be very small. Third, was it better than other attractions we could see? How did we end up going? We were nearby, it was raining and at that particular time... More

The Museu Picasso, on Carrer Montcada, occupies 5 medieval stone mansions with an incredible display of artwork - but the collection concentrates on Picasso's formative years & specific transitions, such as his Blue period. Few places to sit and admire the few larger paintings. More

This Museum is not for everyone. Those who have more than a passing interest in art will find it fascinating. Don't expect to find a comprehensive display of all of Picasso's works. Rather come to this Museum to see the incredible, raw talent right from the beginning, right out of the box. Here is an artist that shows genius even... More

I visited the museu last friday. It was free that day so I went for a look. When I came there, there was a long line waiting. Since I hadn't nothing better to do that day, i decided to wait. But by my suprise, the line moved up quickly and in 20 minutes, I was in the museum. The museum... More

I love museums so this one was a little disappointing. The physical museum is beautiful but many of the pictures were small or just drawings. It was interesting to see that Picaso painted "normal" things as a child and then began painting more "child like" as an adult. We bought tickets on-line at musepicasso.bcn.cat for 11E with a timed entry.... More
