At the moment the site is under a cloud of restoration, however if you are willing to over look this and wander around then you will see what I think is some of the most amazing architecture in Barcelona. Tiled roofs, parapets and mosaics. This is a decadently designed hospital. It will be a wonderful site once all the restoration... More

The hospital is a beautiful building, but I advice you not to visit this place. At this moment it is a construction site and you can't see the building.

...note, that there's some reconstruction going on in front of the main building, so no sense in taking photos there. Av. de Gaudi is a good place to take photos of the Hospital (the distance is hiding the machines). Colourful roofs of other buildings near the main one look nice.

It's a site in construction, nice but it's not so good for going to visit because there's dust everywhere. After this I hadn't a good visit because going around I couldn't understand where to go and what to see and when looking at an info cartel a man asked me for a map and I opened the bag for taking... Went out of our way to visit on the way back from Park Guell today. You need to enter from the side nearest the sea but frankly whilst there are some interesting buildings the whole area is a building site and you cannot walk through it as the main area is closed off by fencing. The tours were later and... More

The buildings that make up the original hospital are beautiful. Yes, the site is currently under construction. You can walk around on your own if you like but I suggest you pay the reduced tour rate of 6 euros which will get you into at least two buildings and the chapel. If you are really lucky, Daniel de Vena will... More

This is a very good example of the modernist architecture, one of the masterpieces of Muntaner, do not miss it!

Was a great trip even if it is still in construction. Vizit it if you are found about arhitecture! You will se around 10 beautifull buildings, no need to enter , you can only walk arround.

Ignore all of the guide books, these are out of date! Currently the beautiful building is a building site of noisy diggers, dust and rubble. Apparently daily tours are still taking place, but hard helmets, boots etc have to be worn. Reminded me of visiting a new build housing estate to view a half built property whilst building goes on...
