We all enjoyed our visit to the Cathedral, even an easily bored teenager, in main because of the views from the top and our walk across the roof. Great fun and great views.

The cathedral is impressive by its dimensions and it brings together history and sense of humour - astronaut in the main entry

The "new" cathedral (the construction began in the 1500s) is beautiful. I can't say enough about Salamanca's two cathedrals. Make sure to enjoy them and not rush through!

Another church among the many of Salamanca. Reasonably interesting and you can make your visit short or long as there is no entrance fee. However, the best view is from the Ieronimus towers so if you are short of time just pay for that.

We were particularly interested by the fact that this cathedral was built to accommodate the increasing number of students, who, presumably did not quite fit in the Old one!

A monumental work. don't miss the exit into the Patio Chico where there's a great view of the tower and the domes of the old cathedral

Free entry to the new Cathedral. Plan to spend at least 15 minutes visiting. If you want to explore the cathedral more, give yourself quite a bit of additional time. We visited the new cathedral and we were speechless about its beauty. You see the outside and you are excited about its architecture... when you enter inside you realize that when you saw the outside you saw almost nothing. Amazing cathedral. A must visit!!!

Nothing to say as dislike. The exceptional artwork in a milenar construction can take you to your knees. Every single centimiter of this (very) large cathedral is filled with astonishing handcrafted details. Inside and outside.
