Just 15 minutes on the main road out from Santander you'll find this amazing wildlife park. The 'enclosures' are huge and the animals are quite sociable (giraffes and ostriches come to eat grass and weeds out your hands). You can exit the park and re-enter as many times as you like so drive out the east exit to the small... More

We had a great day out here. The setting is as interesting as the animals. The area is beautiful and the park is in the hills, so from some of the higher areas there are spectacular views. The place is huge and you have to drive between the animal enclosures. The animals have so much room to move around and we... More

The park is good for children as it has elephants, tigers, and lions and many more animals to view. It is not of much interest to adults.

I don't normally zoos, but this is not a zoo, it is an amazing place with real created landscapes for the animals. They hace plenty space and there is no concrete like in the rest of the zoos. It is recommended to use the car for the long distance between some of the habitats.

My girlfriends parents took us here back in June. I have never seen a zoo like it. It is set into the mountains close to Santander. With massive enclosures for the animals to roam in, even a mini mountain which the bears call home! I guess you need a car to get around since it really is more of a... More

Weve been to many zoo's around the world, but this was exceptional! The animals were so healthy and happy looking because of the large and natural spaces they lived in. We were here in October, and the weather was nice...we saw several happy babies running around, the elephants are adorable! Dont miss the camel, he couldnt get enough neck rubs,... More

We had a great family day out at this wildlife park. You need a car as the park is massive and you drive around it, then get out of the car at various points to see the animals. There are areas where it is safe to walk around, but other areas you aren't supposed to leave your car. The park... More

The heat made many of the animals a bit inert but we really enjoyed some especially the bears. A good outing.

The park is actually a huge zoo. Ok, the animals don't stay in cages, but enclosures which are rather close to their natural environment. Also the natural setting is amazing. What's nice is that you can get really close to some animals (it was amazing that you could almost pet the giraffes); however you can barely spot some if they're... More

I went here on a language trip. It is very nice, all of the animals have lots of room. I saw two shows: one with wild birds and another with sea lions which were both done to a high level. The guided tours are very good.
