Need good weather but fantastic scenary, lovely drive up to Mt Teide with lots of places to take pictures take water with you and some warmer clothing. No dislikes just drive and enjoy scenary you do not see in UK or most other countries. It is rugged up there so decent boots/trainers are a must More

Friends who know the area well took us to first to the Humboldt viewing point, dedicated to the German scientist, Alexander von Humboldt, with its newly opened restaurant.
