Beautiful little town. Very steep with lots of steps down to the port so not ideal for people unsteady on their feet and hot work with a pram! The glass bottomed boat trip gave you lots of interesting information about the history of Menorca

Nice road along the port side to wander along. The Gin factory could do with some tours inside but the tasting was just fine too! Not far from the main shopping street either.

It is a lovely city with good shops and nice places to eat. We have a lunch in the main square on market day Saturday and the service, goof & price was good

Counted over 15 establishments from one end of the port to the other Mostly bars & restaurants that cannot maintain the rent in winter therefore have closed leaving the port very dreary & uninteresting. We visited Mahon as part of a cruise recently, the town was quite pretty and there were a lot of interesting little shops. The locals seemed ambivalent to the presence of tourists though, which was a shame. Had tapas at a restaurant in town, average at best, we had much better tapas at a spanish restaurant back in England!

We enjoyed a great boat trip around the harbour seeing the sights and enjoying the sea air. We had an excellent guide and then returned to Mahon to enjoy the shopping.

A return trip to Mahon is just over 5 euros! There are some nice bars and restaurants and a great playground for kids near the bus station.

Worth going if only to see the massive yachts that are usually moored up here. Quite often there is a cruise ship in to. Plenty of cafes and bars and also a choice of boat trips around the harbour with some very interesting commentary on the history of Mahon.

Mahon port was a great place for a relaxing quiet stroll in the sun. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from all along the base of the cliffs but they are stretched out for about a mile so expect a good walk.
