Aire de Sevilla, in the atmospheric Barrio Santa Cruz, takes the aesthetic of this ancient tradition and gives it something of a modern spa makeover. Thermal baths, hammam and Jacuzzi are on offer in a 16th-century mansion, where you can also indulge in a massage, facial and other pampering treatments. It’s open late, so it’s a nice way to relax and cleanse yourself after a day of heavy-duty sight-seeing, especially when the mercury’s been soaring. « less

Had booked this in advance and it was a great experience. Staff friendly though it was busy the day we went probably because it was raining. There was a bit of confusion as to who was having treatments etc but it was all sorted and the staff were good at explaining the facility. The massage we had booked as part... More

We have just returned from a fabulous morning here. We were hesitant to go because of some of the lukewarm reviews on here but we are so glad we went to see it for ourselves. Beautiful, atmospheric and sensual. We found the staff helpful and friendly. The pools are lovely, lit by candllelight. The salt pool was particularly fab. It... More

We visited on our last day to chill out before the trip home. Would advise booking as the place isn't that large and they limit the number of people. We went on Monday 10am which was not busy and we didn't have to wait to get into any of the baths so it was tranquil and enjoyable. The next session... More

Thinking about the moorish heritage I thought to find something really close to a typical hammam, especially after having seen wonderful moorish art in Alcazár or similar. Instead it is a nice place but nothing special, closer to a western spa than to moorish hammam.

I think some of the negative reviews on here are unfair. I went here today and it was fantastic. I had the 2pm slot and it was basically me and 6 other people sharing the facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful, even if their English wasn't the best (why should it be?!). The slippers were fine - clean and... More

After having it be way too cold all over spain in april - we thoroughly enjoyed getting into the warm bathes. The shifting between warm to hot to freezing cold was a new experience and very invigorating. We opted for the 15 min massages b/c we didn't want to spend too much of our 90 mins getting a massage. I... More

We saved our visit to the baths for our final afternoon in Seville (after a wonderful morning in the Alcazar). It was the perfect way to unwind and reflect on our holiday. The atmosphere is calming, the baths are gorgeous (although the cold one takes your breath away) and the unlimited supply of spearmint tea just perfect.

We went on a Monday morning for the Midday session and it wasn't at all overcrowded. The staff were very helpful and their English was more than adequate. I had read many of the reviews on here and was a little anxious that we may be a bit confused as to how to best enjoy the experience but this wasn't... More

I visited Aire when on a solo trip to Seville. I had made a reservation for the baths and a 30 minute aromatherapy massage. Given that it was c 11am on Monday, the place was quiet with not many around. The service referred to in other reviews is something that needs a little improvement. At the front desk, one would... We've been fortunate enough to have experienced thermal springs in several parts of the world, and we enjoy the relaxation they provide. This one is not the best, but it was nice. First, language is an issue. We speak some Spanish, but we still had some problems with understanding what was expected. We pretty much stumbled our way through. Signage... More
