I was reasonably happy with my study at the school. I especially liked the extracurricular activities which included a great pot-luck lunch put on by students, and a fantastic hike in the nearby mountains. Having two teachers with a twenty minute break in the morning was a very good idea as well. One of the teachers was fantastic, but the... More

I think everybody is allowed to say his opinion, but I think it has to be the true. It`s true that the school don`t use books but I think that the reason is that they are working with a lot of books on the same time. I stayed there for a lot of weeks in the last years and I... More

Hi, I don't think that using a book in class is important to learn a language. I have been at the school some months ago and I was impressed by the quality of teaching. Even with photocopies :) I improved my Spanish level. In my opinion Escuela Montalbán, which is accredited by the Spanish Instituto Cervantes and offers teacher training... More

I had a nice time on holiday at Escuela Montalban, but I didn't think the quality of education was as advertised. The web site promises that all materials will be provided, but the materials turned out to be random, photocopied worksheets that got squished together in a folder. No book at all, and for over 1000 Euros, I expected at... More

I've already been to some Spanish schools in Spain, but I've never felt so welcome as in the school Montalbán. In my opinion the great advantage of the Escuela Montalbán in Granada is its size. It is quite a small school, so if you look for personal and individual treatment, it's the perfect option. Concerning classes and progress in learning... More

Without hesitation I can recommend courses which take place there. The level of teaching I find high but appropriate for everyone's language skills, classes are interesting and varied!! Caring staff, profesors well-pre pared to teach... More

Studying at the Escuela Montalban has for me been a great experience from both a cultural and linguistic point of view. The classes, always organised in small numbers, are interesting and dynamic, and the teachers always make sure to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere so that it becomes a pleasure to learn Spanish! You also study in a truly... More

I followed a one-month language course at the Escuela Montalban last May and it definitely has been a fun and enriching experience which I would recommend to anyone! Not only did I study Spanish in fun and friendly classes, but I could also take part in lots of cultural activities organised by the school, such as Flamenco classes, film showings,... More
