Wow, what an impressive architectural delight, both inside and out. The ceilings are fabulous as are the many chapels all around the inside.
Unexpected and stunningly beautiful. I've only ever heard of tourists going to Malaga for the sun and the nightlife so I hadn't even considered going to spot the cathedral- very unsual inside in terms of architecture, but beautiful and beautifully decorated.
Beautiful main attraction in Malaga centre. Try and attend a mass service if possible, even if you arent religious or Spanish speaking it is a real experience!
Worth to see Malaga Cathedral! It has really interesting architecture. The choir at center was surprise. It has many beautiful altars surrounding whole church.
The cathedral is impressive from the outside, and that is why i was compelled to see it from the inside. The entrance fee was EUR 5. And yes, the cathedral was beautiful - colorful glasses, the organ was also impressive, but nothing that striking and worth seeing, especially for that entrance fee... This is an interesting cathedral, possibly because it was built on what was once a mosque. Although it isn't cheap for entry, you do get an audio guide, which is informative. Worth a visit, even if it's just to look around the outside.
Have visited many, many cathedrals, abbeys, churches etc on various holidays over the years but can honestly say this was by far the most spectacular. Beautiful stained glass, alter etc etc but the ceiling was out of this world! Lit very well to show it at its best. An enormous solid chunky building in the heart of the old town....

Very peaceful within the hustle and bustle of the town centre a glorious cathedral filled with interesting chappels. Entrance fee payable but well worth it
