Another stop to start the sightseeing is at the Music and Congress center. The town is an Island between Trave River and the Elbe-Lubeck Canal. The one-hour journey... More

That means that the island that now... More

In medieval times Luebeck was the "queen" of the Hanseatic League, and this historic background is still visible everywhere. Despite heavy destruction during World War II, the city center is still dominated by several impressive medieval churches, a historic market place, famous old city gates, large ancient trade and storage buildings as well as beautiful old houses of the rich... Charming streets with many sights and good shopping. Several cafes and restaurants with good food at reasonable prices. Everything is within walking distance and you can do a lot of sights in a day. More

The Altstad Lubek is an ocean of brickstones , with narrow cobblestone street , car-free , is a must see if you happen to be in this part of Germany . It has a friendly and relax atmosphere, and so many hidden corners to explore . Make sure you go along the Trave River . More

Absolutely gorgeous city! As you can imagine, any city that is named a UNESCO World Heritage Site is going to have a lot of charm. Interesting to walk around. Could not find any English speaking tours available on the day we were there, so we picked up the iTour, self guide from the tourist office and it was helpful! (Note... More

After doing some research and reading some TA reviews we decided to visit Lubeck. We had a very good time and enjoyed the old town in particular. We visited some churches... More
