In an old gas store you find a modern version of the 19th century tradition of big panaromas for tourists. When we visited it, we got a 360° panorama of Antique Rome, with splendid visual effects. on a screen of 100 meters wide and 30 meters high. Entry is 10 EUR. That's not cheap but we enjoyed the visit.

After a journey by tram and foot, we arrived at Panometer. There we got the message that we couldn't get in anymore. To many people already queing... It can happen, but we looked it up 30min before we went, there was nothing mentioned on the website, at the door either.
So if it's a rainy weekend day, be carefull not...

Just an amazing amouint of effort in making sure all of the details are there. Be sure to either bring or rent (2 Euro) a pair of binoculars to see all of the details

We visited the ROM312 work of Asisi and deeply impressed by the dimensions of the canvas: some 30 meters high and 100 meters long. Take your time and let your imagination complete the experience. Worth the money.

You simply must visit the Asisi Panometer if you are in Dresden. This is a panoramic "painting" of Dresden in 1756. You climb a stairs to a viewing platform where you can spend as much time as you wish walking arould to view the panoramic picture of the city. It is so hard to describe. Its really a technological marvel what they have done. Instead a HUGE many storied building they have created what Dresden looked like in the 18th century.
