The point where the Mosel joins the Rhein is called the Deutsches Ecke (in English 'German Corner'). It takes you about 10-15 minutes to walk around the the monument, enjoying the views of the rivers and the castle on the opposite high bank of the Rhein. It is reasonable to go by cable railway to the castle (discounted admission fee... More

This landmark is pretty cool, a good amount of stairs involved to climb but there is a nice view at the top. It is also free to go to which is a plus. Ensure that you take a ride on the Gondola built on the Deutches Eck as it will lead to a more impressive view of Koblenz which is... More

Beautiful view of the Rhine and Mosel rivers. Nice location to take a stroll on and enjoy the weather while enjoying an ice cream or beer at one of the shops.

We walked all over Deutsches Eck at the confluence of the Rhine and Mosel Rivers. It has a beautiful bronze monument to Kaiser Wilhelm II on the edge of the water and cable cars running up to the fort across the Rhine (also worth seeing). It contains many shady paths and all different levels of in- and outdoor eating. Two... More

The Deutcsches Eck stands proud at the confluence of the Mosel and the Rhine. It really is an imposing structure, dominating the area. we loved the flags and the view from the steps leading up to the statue. The only thing we would have liked is some kind of guide book or explanation as to what it is and why... More

I think its a been there done that kind of a place. Other than the massive statue of Emperor William I there isn't much else. Its a nice , impressive monument reflecting on a time when Prussia was the dominant European power. Certainly worth an hour if you are visiting Koblenz.

Historic place where Mosel and Rhein join together. Nicely restored location (park). Nice to walk, great views over both rivers.

A chilly March morning may not be the best of times to visit but at least it was quiet. Sadly the Cable Car up to the fort was closed for refurbishment but it was still nice to see the confluence of the Rhine and the Mosel.

Nice place to visit in the evening. Take the lift and head over to the fort. The garden and the fort is quite beautiful around sunset. You have an excellent view of Koblenz from here.
