Easily accessible when coming from the cities in the NRW. The airport is smaller than Frankfurt airport but much more organized. It is easy to find your way around. There is a small area for small children play on floor with the check in counters for departure passengers.

Easy access from City or other Cities.
Leave plenty of time for check in as even out of peak in March queing was quite long and you need to allow this time.
Limited sandwich bars after check in but sufficient for snacking/refreshments.

I was checking in at the Lufthansa business class check in for a flight to Athens.
I placed my carry on bag on the ground next to me to place my checked bag on the belt.
I needed to get my E-ticket out of my carry on bag, and when I looked down the bag was gone!
