Not every street in the Old Town is as interesting, expecially not the big tourist-restaurant area. The Bolkerstreet wasn't our thing. But in the many cobblestone sidestreets there are many interesting houses, gallery's, small musea, restaurants and speciality shops to find. Try an Alt Bier at one of the many beerhouses. the 'indoor' non-smoking areas are 100% open to the street so most every table in the place seems like a full smoking area, but that is just the way it goes in europe.
