Didn't expect to see so many great works in this museum. A great mixture of contemporary and classic arts. The Ludwig family has a wonderful collection displayed in the museum. Artists like Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg, as well as Ferdinand Kriwet, Max Beckmann.....and more. More

Nice introduction to the German Expressionists and a good Picasso wing make this a must see. Also a modern wing featuring Jasper Johns, David Hockney, among others. Can easily be seen in 90 minutes to 2 hours and a nice way to balance the Gothic cathedral next door. More
