Classic exterior with a phenomenal new interior rebuilt after the war damage. Very much enjoyed a social evening in the restaurant. Great location.

I haven't been inside the old Opera house because it was closed every time I got there. Nevertheless, it is an impressive building, acting as a landmark and a symbol for this city. Don't miss!
We were part of a large group that had dinner at this venue. It is a very large and open space but you can feel the history as you enter. The catering was first rate and very tasty. Definitely worth checking out if you have a group and looking for an unusal place to go.
This is a beautiful huge building with a very nice surrounding square. It is right off of the pedestrian shopping street that connects to the city center, the Roemer. It is just magnificent to look at.
I absolutely love going here and the variety of performances have kept our visits from becoming repetitive. Not only is the Old Opera House beautiful, the acoustics are fantastic and there aren't any bad seats (not that I've had anyway).
I have had the opportunity to have brunch at this restaurant twice, both times have been magnificent. Just a lovely place to dine. The cuisine and atmosphere is just wonderful. I will definitely go back. You must call, reservation is a must!

I recall its dark hulk as both dismaying and promising in the 1970s (a time when I lived near Frankfurt). Thank goodness civic pride fulfilled...

A Monument not to be missed, loved it we visit it every time we come to Frankfurt, we recommend it, a must see attraction in Fr.
It is a beautiful building both inside and out. This had been our third visit and we found the seats in the stalls uncomfortable and the temperature and humidity rose during the performance. Everything else about the place is clean and professional.
