We saw Sanssouci in the snow in late March with the marble statues covered in their own protection boxes to keep the frost out, but it was worth the visit. There's a reason so many places have been named after it: it's gorgeous, historically interesting and not much bigger than a large suburban house. If you want huge, super-bling, go somewhere else. Brilliant architecture, lovely place to think and meditate even today. breath taking interior. Visited in early March but only one of the buildings was open so we missed out on a large part of the attraction. However what we saw was excellent and the audio guide was good. Best to go in spring or summer.

We went to Potsdam for a day from Berlin. We spent the day wandering around the beautiful grounds here. In the snow it looked stunning and would be beautiful in summer too.
