I had always been curious about the smaller palace near the fountain. I took the tour and the palace is filled with original art works and furniture. There is also a Warhol piece which seemed a bit out of place. Worth the price of the tour. It took under an hour. More

If there is a long line at the ticket office, you can also buy tickets at the office at the park entrance down the hill (below the windmill). Also, buy the multi-entry ticket which gets you into other Potsdam sites like Cicilienhof. More

We visited Sans Souci towards the end of winter, so it was not as beautiful as it would be in the summer. But it is definitely still worth checking out.
