Nuremberg Zoo is wondefully located in an old sandstone quarry. It covers a large area and there are many things to explore. The dolphin pool has been refurbished and the shows are now included in the price, which makes the entry tickets more expensive, but they are still at an acceptable price for what you get offered in the zoo....

Nice mid size zoo.
The main attraction here is Dolphinarium.
If you are lucky you can book "begegnung mit Dolphinen", which means "Afternoon with Dolphins".
You must call approximately 3 months before and make your reservation, its very very hard to call there, everybody wants to go to this attraction. Phone is busy.
Only 6 people in day can visit....
