Let me admit up front that church art is not my favorite genre, so I wouldn't be likely to love this collection. I was at least as interested in the original monastery building as I was in the Augustiner collection, and I found the modern remodeling obscured much of the original building.

This is a great little museum that is a must see in Freiburg. It's located in the Augustinerplatz on Gerberau street. It has an amazing display of religious art and artifacts that were preserved by the monks over the centuries (it was previously a monestary).
