Thoroughly enjoyed walking the stretch......plenty of trees, lovely spring flowers, passing pretty bridges over the water along the way.......at regular intervals, posts indicated the history of the place with photographs of the yesteryears. More

This is a nice place to stroll in the spring. The flowers are beautiful and there are various activities to see along the way, horse riding, tennis courts, an random wildlife in the river. It's a nice way to enjoy a sunny relaxing day. More

Enjoyed a stroll looking at all the spring flowers and trees with blossom as well as the magnificent building lining the route. Pleasant at anytime of year as I've also visited in summer. More

The Lichtentaler Allee is a lovely and actually decent length promenade along the "River" Oos. From start to finish it's just over 2km or 4km roundtrip and takes you through lovely gardens, sculptures, past museums and glam hotels. It's especially nice change of pace if you've already done your hill walking above the Caracalle Therme. More

We went to Baden-Baden on our way back from Dachau on a whim and decided to toss the map and turn off the GPS. We had very little idea of what awaited us in Baden-Baden, and were happy to find ourselves strolling through the park. We arrived as the church bells struck the hour, which made this a beautiful and... More

You can easily spend two to three hours strolling around or jogging between the Platanenbäume or seeing the ducks in the river. Very aristocratic and special! More

Walking along the Lichtenthaler Allee is special in all seasons. In the spring, the bulbs blooming everywhere are beautiful. In the summer, on a hot day, you can walk in the water, the bottom is paved with sone - it is very cooling. The fall foliage is lovely and in the winter the snow can be very picturesque. The Rose...
