While living in Lyon with two small kids, we went here almost weekly. Zoo, puppet shows, lake, playgrounds, train rides, race cars, etc; what more could you want. Amazing botanical garden and close to the modern art museum. Definitely worth a visit even if you are visiting Lyon for only a short while. More

This park is great. It is like central park in NYC only in Lyon, which in my opinion makes it better! Go here and have a picnic. If you have the time and money, rent a boat and have a picnic on the lake! More

This is a fabulous large park, it has everything, a lake and row boats, lovely gardens, lots of space for running/ cycling and even a free zoo.
