We had a little picnic and a walk around - it is gorgeous, and tops off a lovely drive up the mountain through the woods to get there. There's a cafe for a drink and loostop - worth a look.

Went on a bus up to the top of this mountain but came straight back down again as it was pouring with rain, cold and misty. We were just unlucky and I am sure that on a good day it is beautiful!

We travelled to the top of this mountain by car which was a very easy drive. there is a restaurant on the top. If you park here and walk to the summit (100m) you can see right across the alps including Mont Blanc.

Unfortunately the day we drove up here it was clouded in but the views on the way up were stunning so I imagine on a clear day the views would be stunning. We were told you can even see to Mt Blanc

The La Semnoz mountain range is right by Annecy. If you have transport, be sure to spend a day driving around this area. You will be met by gorgeous mountain views and some lovely waterfalls. Well-worth a visit...if this does not help you get into the alpine spirit, nothing will!
