This Palace built by Napoléon the third for his wife Eugénie is still dominating the old harbor entrance. Very beautiful sightseeing and garden. a restaurant in the garden facing Marseille very nice in summertime

The palace is amazing! It is gated with security, so you feel very safe. There are a lot of grassy areas to hang out in. Many times new and upcoming artists have displays in the gardens behind the palace.

Accessible as a long walk from Vieux Port; built by Emperor Napoleon III, the residence is now a park and conference center at the mouth of Vieux Port. The area closer to the entrance with a carousel seemed popular with families, while couples and individuals seemed to enjoy a warm afternoon sitting on benches and hillside closer to the building,...
