Decided to make a trip here after all the positive reviews. The staff were friendly but I think modern art wasn't quite our cup of tea.
Enjoyed the permanent collection, especially the works donated by Nicki de Saint-Phalle. Well designed building and free admission. If you only like dark portraits or paintings of card playing dogs it is not for you
The show on art influenced by Matisse that closes at the end of this month was well worth seeing and a great show to see after having been in the Matisse museum. There are other galleries in the museum as well but we did not get to spend too much time there. The museum is free and in a good... More
I have enjoyed it very much, I saw and admired too many contemporary masterpieces exposed there. You may admire pictures, sculptures, etc and magnificient views of the city from the roof.
