It costs more than 5 Euros to climb up a rickety set of stairs to ONE room that has alleged items related to Cezanne. Poorly organized. Totally unexplained. A big mess. The lone attendant keeps pushing people out so more unsuspecting marks can be cycled through. More

The main feature is a big room with all of Cezanne's stuff. We attended the English tour at 5pm, but it gets boring after traversing through the items for some time. The house has a nice exterior and a fascinating garden which is free for visitors. More

We visited this very small museum (atelier) because it was the work place of Cezanne. The guide was very nice and interesting, but since it is only a small room to visit on the second floor, with a few personal items of Cezanne on display, we were a bit disappointed. No paintings, just a bit of history... More

Cezanne's studio was interesting! The woman who gave our English tour also spoke French and Spanish. She showed us the small mannequin Cezanne used to paint the women in The Bathers and told us how he designed the studio himself and kept asking the builders to hurry up, since at 62 he felt he did not have long to live.... Cost a euro to enter so can't complain... Without guided tour, it'd have been pointless. 25 items cezanne painted In his famous still life was in Tokyo for repair so there really is lesser to see. I'm a painter, and an artist studio usually reveals alot but this one has little to offer. All his paint brushes or palettes aren't... More

Cezanne had a beautiful spot for his studio and had a fantastic view of the mountain no great distance up the road - we walked up to see the view. There were a number of items in his studio that can be seen in his paintings, which added to our interest. It was a good insight into the artist and... More

You can walk here from old Aix. It's up a hill. The view to the city is nice. This is a small museum, but very interesting if you're interested in Cezanne. Several of his clothes, including a painter's smock are still hanging on the wall. It was a peaceful time strolling through the small studio and gardens. More

The gardens are delightful, and the video show is excellent. The atelier itself is interesting, but as it is one of THE attractions in Aix, don't expect a peaceful moment of communing with Cézanne! More

This was a highlight of our short tour of Provence. The studio is exactly as he left it. His son did nothing for 20 some years then an American decided it should be preserved. All of the articles from painting smocks, easels, umbrellas and still life props were there. It is basically one room and a garden, which was not... More
