This castle is very near Avrille. A guide took us on a private tour of the Castle and it was very interesting. The tour was very personal and Patrick was happy to answer any of Olivias ( 8 years )questions, no matter how strange or unexpected!

This jem of a chateau is only open to the public on special occasions but there is ample car parking and you can walk around the perimeter, part moated, any time.
It's not far off the main N182 from Le Lion d'Angers and Angers on the D106 to Le Plessis Macé.
