Wandering through the museum is like the guilty pleasure of browsing through all the rooms of an acquaintance's estate, checking out the gorgeous furniture in the bedrooms and dining room, the portraits - particularly the frames are exquisite, the glass and vases are simply displayed. It is not a large mansion so we felt like we were able to take... More

Museum contains wonderful Marjorelle furniture and a stunning collection of glass from all the major local makers like Galle and Daum and some less well known like the Mueller brothers.Well worth a long visit ,also don't miss Rue Felix Faure just about a hundred meters past the museum as its full of wonderful houses from the period. A short trek from the centre, but well worth the visit to get a feel for the short-lived but distinctive fashion for art nouveau, and the Nancy decorative glass industry. More

First let's say that we bring our kids regularly to museums and getting their attention there is...how should I say..a challenge to say the least. Due to its human size (a dozen "period rooms"on 2 levels and setting (an extended "villa"), they enjoyed their visit...though not as much as my wife and I: the furniture collection is simply amazing and... This very small museum won't appeal to all, but if you love the world of Art Nouveau, it's a must. The Nancy school was one of the key centres of this movement, and this museum has a wonderful display of ceramics, glass, furniture, and stained glass. Buy one of their books too, to remind yourself how beautiful this stuff is.... More

The pure love of the art shows through in this charming house and collection of the School of Nancy architecture and art forms. Every room is a time capsule of the great craftsmanship, artistic vision, and real appreciation for hand crafted excellence. You must also appreciate the subtle political themes that run through each piece of furniture, particularly the table... More

The museum is conveniently located at the end of an Art Nouveau walk starting from the centre of town (maps are available from the Tourist Office). Unfortunately, the museum is a bit of a disappointment. While the furniture and glass displayed are beautiful and a must see for anyone appreciating Art Nouveau, the items are poorly displayed. Every room is... More

If you like art don't miss the oportunity to visit this museum specialized in the Art Nouveau of the Ecole de Nancy. It is located in a turn of the century house originally owned by Jean-Baptiste Corbin who was one of the most important collectors of the time. They have beautiful glass pieces by Emile Gallé and furniture created by... More
