Here's the thing: Pick a sunny day and make sure you have plenty of time to reach the tower, then it is a wonderful little trip. You can reach the tower by strolling through a very pleasant park - there is many little paths that will create short detours, but it's all very nice and pleasant.

The gardens and walk up to the tower are beautiful, even in winter. If you're claustrophobic, you may want to stay at the bottom. I walked up the steps (carefully) and it was well worth it for the awesome view!

A beat hard to reach top of this tower, no handicap acess but sight wonderfull, we saw airport and sea side of camargue with bright windy sky.
Its a steep climb to the top of the gardens and then another to the top of the tower, but the views are fantastic. Outdoor re-enactments take place during summer.
nice surroundings as even in october there was flowers at the foot of the tower. didn't go in but imagine you get a great view of Nimes. Its just a tower though, even if dates back to Roman times.
pay 10 euros and get three things for the price of 2. Great views - many steps though so dont do on a really hot day
Ancient monument to the Celtic god Nemasus whose name became that of the town. Once you reach it, your pass will admit you to a display of its role and - if you’ve a head for heights - a 140 step circular staircase leading to a panoramic view over Nimes.
